How to Unblock a MAC Address
I was looking around on google for a good tutorial on how to unblock a MAC address on a router but couldn't find one. So I found out on my own and decided to share it here with the rest of you.
Step 1) Login to your router. Most routers address is http://192.168.1.1/ .
If you don't know the ip of the router you can try clicking start-->run-->then type cmd and click "OK". In the command prompt type: ipconfig and press "Enter" on the keyboard. If there's a "gateway address" that will the the number to type after http:// in your browser.
Ethernet adapter Wireless:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.101
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
Step 2) Most routers are different, but I'll tell you where I go for mine. Wireless -> Wireless MAC Filter -> Edit MAC Filter list
Step 3) When there you can add or remove MAC addresses. Remember to click save at the bottom if you want to keep your changes.
